# Kuyu — sources and licences

Everything a visitor sees or hears on this site, and where it came from.

## Fonts (self-hosted, `fonts/`)

| Face | Use | Source | Licence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anybody (variable: width 50–150, weight 100–900) | display | Google Fonts (`fonts.gstatic.com/s/anybody/v13/`), project: https://github.com/Etcetera-Type-Co/Anybody | SIL Open Font License 1.1 — `fonts/OFL-anybody.txt` |
| Bricolage Grotesque (variable: optical size, width, weight) | text | Google Fonts (`fonts.gstatic.com/s/bricolagegrotesque/v9/`), project: https://github.com/ateliertriay/bricolage | SIL Open Font License 1.1 — `fonts/OFL-bricolagegrotesque.txt` |

Subsets: latin and latin-ext (Turkish).

## Libraries (shared, `../shared/vendor/`)

- Three.js r180 — MIT (`../shared/vendor/three/LICENSE.txt`)
- GSAP 3.13 with ScrollTrigger — GreenSock standard licence, free for this use (`../shared/vendor/gsap-README.md`)
- Lenis 1.3 — MIT (`../shared/vendor/lenis-LICENSE.txt`)

## Images, posters, sound

- **No photographs, no image files and no audio files are used.** Every poster is drawn by code in the visitor's
browser: a ripple-field model screened as two-ink halftone (`js/print.js` for the 2D canvas, the same model
as a WebGL shader in `js/wall.js`). The wall texture is procedural (`js/wall.js`).
- Every sound is synthesised live with the WebAudio API (`js/sound.js`): oscillators, filtered noise and a
generated reverb tail. Nothing is recorded, sampled or AI-generated. The sound never starts by itself.
- `img/mark.svg` (favicon): drawn for this site.

## Facts used

- Fall time of a dropped stone: d = ½·g·t², g = 9.81 m/s² (standard gravity, air resistance ignored).
- Speed of sound in air at 20 °C: about 343 m/s.
- Risograph: a stencil duplicator that prints one colour per drum and pass (general description).
- The "Hicaz" scale in the sketch of track 7 is an equal-tempered approximation; the real makam uses
  intervals outside twelve-tone equal temperament.

## Placeholders and example data

The band, its members, the album, the songs, the lyrics, the release date, the tour dates, the venues and the
streaming links are fictional. Tour dates are labelled "Örnek / Example"; names, venues, release date, lyrics and
credits are labelled "Yer tutucu / Placeholder".
