# Pırlanta Halı Yıkama — credits and licences

Pırlanta Halı Yıkama is a fictional brand; this site is a demo by Olympos Web.

## Photographs (Unsplash License, checked on each photo page on 2026-10-22; not Unsplash+)
- `img/kilim-*.jpg|webp` — "Colorful geometric pattern on a woven rug" by **engin akyurt**
  (https://unsplash.com/@enginakyurt), https://unsplash.com/photos/sRrP1YIBd3A — Unsplash License
(https://unsplash.com/license). Used in the before/after slider. The "before" side is this same photograph
with a dirt layer drawn on the page by `js/main.js`; the page says so next to the image.
- `img/dokuma-*.jpg|webp` — "Close up of woven textile with geometric pattern" by **engin akyurt**,
https://unsplash.com/photos/uFm7VYow21c — Unsplash License. Used in the hand-knotted wool entry.
- Downloaded with `projects/client-drafts/tools/fetch-photos.py`; provenance (download URLs, original sizes,
hashes) in `img/sources.json`. The files were then recompressed (JPEG q70–72, WebP q60), so the bytes and
hashes in `sources.json` describe the original downloads, not the files now in `img/`.
- `img/kilim.jpg`, `img/dokuma.jpg`, `img/dokuma-1600.*` and `img/dokuma-800.webp` are not referenced by the page (deletion is blocked on
  this machine, so they stay).

## Drawn and procedural media (written for this site)
- Every carpet on the page (the hero rail, the wash, the measure tool, the kinds rail, the drying room, the stain
patch, the station pictures) is woven knot by knot on a 2D canvas by `js/weave.js`.
- The drying rail and the wash are Three.js scenes in `js/rail.js` (cloth sway, dust, foam, rinse, roll and wrap
are shaders and particles). The van and the controls' small marks are inline SVG drawn for this site.
- No AI-generated imagery anywhere.

## Facts used (general knowledge, worth a read by a real carpet cleaner)
- The wash stations (tagging, dry dust beating before wet cleaning, stain pre-treatment and a colour-fastness test on
a hidden corner, shampoo wash by fibre, rinsing out residue, centrifuge spin, hanging drying in warm moving air,
inspection, rolling and wrapping) are stated generally; no times, capacities or guarantees.
- Fibres: machine-made carpets are mostly polypropylene, acrylic or polyester; viscose is a cellulose fibre that
weakens when wet and can yellow; silk weakens when wet; kilims are flat-woven with the pattern in the weft; latex
  non-slip backings are heat-sensitive.
- Care and stain first aid: blot, do not rub; cold water for coffee, tea and fruit stains; let mud dry before
brushing; harden wax and gum with ice; avoid ammonia cleaners on pet urine; rotate carpets for even fading and
wear; roll, do not fold, for storage; plastic traps moisture; moths favour soiled wool.
- Example data (labelled on the page): districts (real Istanbul district names) and route days, time windows, unit
prices, the tag number, the tracking status.
